FAQ

Does dizziness in a balloon happen?
Dizziness appears when you are on the ground, this is not the case for balloon flight. When the apprehension makes you say 'I want to do it but I'm dizzy', we guarantee that this feeling is quickly getting away as soon as the basket is leaving the ground, so much of softness, the grace as well as the security sensation of a hot air balloon flight will amaze you. No dizziness in the plane for example, same for the balloon, so go ahead, without hesitation!
Is it cold up there?
We lose a few degrees in altitude but the temperature is practically the same as on the ground or warmer. The balloon moves at the speed of the wind, which does not affects the flight. No relative wind in the basket. besides, the radiation from the burner heats the atmosphere in the nacelle.
Why do we only fly in the morning?
During the day there is wind because the sun heats the earth and creates instability (thermal phenomenon). However at dawn, conditions are stable, the wind is regular, offering flight safety.
How long is a balloon flight / trip?
A first flight lasts on average between 30 and 40 minutes, the exact duration is determined by the pilot, the same day of the flight, depending on the weather, the time of takeoff and the availability of land for the 'landing.
Can we fly every day and when will I fly?
We fly on an exceptional site which allows to fly on average 350 days (only in mornings) per year, you will make your flight all the year according to your choice and our availability.
How is the balloon inflated?
One or more fans fill the envelope with air at outside temperature, once the envelope is inflated on the ground, the pilot uses the burner to heat the air contained in the envelope which makes possible to lift the balloon in a vertical position.
How do you direct a hot air ballon?
The ballon goes wherever the wind prevails. However, pilots can search for higher or lower altitudes to find wind currents from different directions. We refer to it as the most authentic form of navigation.
What are the best flight conditions?
The best conditions are as follows: light wind, absence of storm cells, good visibility. They are synonymous with stable aerology, ideal conditions for the practice of balloon flight. Dry ground will sometimes be preferred by the pilot to store the ball in a big bag. Once these conditions are met, each flight that we schedule will give you the same pleasure.
